NUR 263 Safety and Security Needs IV: Neuro Science Nursing Credits: (1) This course provides the opportunity for the student to focus on the use of the nursing process for the commonly occurring pathological conditions of the Nervous system, the Immune system, and the special senses (vision and hearing). Emphasis will be placed on using critical thinking to apply necessary theory knowledge in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for clients with these dysfunctions. Time required for completion of this course is dependent on the individual learner; however, it is expected that students will spend at least 45 hours in study and classroom activity.
