PSD 175 Emergency Service Dispatching

This course concentrates on the techniques, roles, and responsibilities of fire and emergency medical services dispatching. Topics covered include law, regulations, dispatching procedures, record keeping, communication skills, and mutual aid systems. Students successfully completing PSD 171  - PSD 175 will be certified by the Association of Public Safety Communications Officers Institute (APCO). Open to 911 public safety telecommunicators only. Co-requisite(s): PSD 171 , PSD 172 , PSD 173 , and PSD 174 .
