SGT 105 Clinical Practice I Credits: (5) This course is a clinical application of basic surgical technology procedures. Students will be involved in the preparation of equipment and the practice of passing instruments and sutures during actual surgical procedures. Students will be supervised during their time on clinical. They are allowed and encouraged to ask questions to facilitate further understanding of the surgical process, as well as of the surgical technology profession. Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in the Surgical Technology (A.A.S.) program, C+ or higher in SGT 101 , SGT 102 , and SGT 103 , B or higher in SGT 103L , and a C+ or higher in BIO 171 , BIO 172 , and HIT 120 . Co-requisite(s): SGT 111 . Prerequisite(s)/Co-requisite(s): BIO 205 .
