A survey of music in western civilization from Greek antiquity through the Baroque Era, including an analysis of the evolution of music styles from the Early Christian Era to about 1750. Not open to non-music majors. Pre/co-requisite(s): Major-level music theory course (MUS 101T, MUS 102T, MUS 201T, or MUS 202T) or permission of instructor.
