A medical examination, a tuberculin test, a background check, and fingerprinting may be required before beginning field work placements and may require additional costs.

Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential

The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

A concentrated continuation of ARH 121 with emphasis on the production of working drawings for steel and concrete frame multistory structures. Prerequisite(s): ARH 121 .

Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to demonstrate a high degree of ability to make sound construction decisions and to clearly and accurately implement these decisions in a completed set of working drawings.
