BUS 244 Business Law II

A study of the fundamental legal principles relating to agency relationships, sustainable business forms and practices, and other business forms to include partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations.

Learning Outcomes
  1. Demonstrate a basic understanding of agency law and the law governing partnerships, corporations, and related business organizations.
  2. Accurately apply these laws in the business environment and recognize when legal advice should be sought to resolve a business problem.
  3. List the differences between the various business forms and choose an appropriate form for a particular business enterprise.
  4. Appreciate that business enterprise is compatible with shared prosperity, environmental protection, and social justice.
  5. Apply critical thinking skills to the legal issues they will face in business and consider the legal and ethical consequences of their decisions.
