COM 245 Communication @ Work Credits: (3) This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of communication in the workplace. The focus of the course is on analyzing and improving interpersonal communication in a professional context. Topics covered include: meeting management, interview techniques, participation in team and group communication, preparation of professional presentations, managerial communication, diversity in the workplace, and listening skills. This course emphasizes the development of practical and critical skills.
