The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

EDU 157 Early Childhood Environments

This course explores the process of designing developmentally appropriate learning environments for young children. Emphasis will be on physical space, both indoor and outdoor, room arrangement, how the environment supports families, and how to design an environment that is engaging for young children.

Identify developmentally appropriate ECE environments that promote safe, active, hands-on learning.
Plan and organize an ECE classroom environment that supports children and families.
