The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. HIS 213 End of Empire: British Imperialism Since 1900

This course is a study of world history and global issues through an examination of the British Empire in the twentieth century. Students will assess how British power operated and how it controlled its huge far-flung Empire. Independence movements from both the British and indigenous populations’ perspectives, and the lasting ramifications of British rule, will be investigated.
