Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential

The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

ITA 201 Intermediate Italian I

This dynamic course draws upon previously acquired knowledge, while introducing students to more complex grammatical and lexical structures to further develop communicative proficiency and cultural knowledge. The course is conducted mostly in Italian. Upon successful completion of ITA 201, students may enroll in ITA 202. This course also fulfills the Global Awareness requirement at Onondaga. Prerequisite(s): ITA 102 , four years of high school Italian, or permission of instructor.
