Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential

The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

This survey course taught in English will increase students’ understanding of the diverse and complex cultures of Latin America through an analysis of the historic, political, and economic forces that have shaped its societies, and by comparing and contrasting their historic and contemporary cultural manifestations to those in other parts of the world.
