Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential

The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

PHO 290 History of Photography

A survey of the history of photography, with concentration on selected major figures in photography from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Class activities will include instructor’s presentations, student reports, field trips, guest presentations, and discussions based upon those activities and upon assigned readings in the history of photography.
