FSA 102 Responsible Alcohol Service

This course is designed to cover alcohol law and responsibility, how to recognize and prevent intoxication, check identification, and handle difficult situations. This is a nationally recognized certification designed by the National Restaurant Association to educate and train in risk management on serving alcohol responsibly, which is critical to protect customers, communities, and businesses.

Learning Outcomes
  1. Describe and identify the types of liabilities related to alcohol service
  2. Understand how to assess a person’s level of intoxication and how it affects the body
  3. Evaluate the validity and acceptable types of a person’s identification in relation to serving alcohol
  4. Demonstrate how to communicate and handle difficult and potentially violent situations related to alcohol and drug intoxication
