The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

CMG 210 Construction Scheduling & Planning

Credits: (3)

This course introduces students to the concepts of construction planning and scheduling. Topics include identification of construction activities and performance duration analysis. Students will develop and update schedules, resource planning, and cost planning. Schedule development will include Gantt, Linear, PERT, CPM, and precedence diagrams in both manual and industry standard software. Prerequisite(s): CMG 101 or permission of instructor.
