The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

This course is designed to develop the musical and gestural skills that are necessary for conducting an ensemble. Gestural skills include body awareness, clarity of movement, and expressiveness. Musical skills include knowledge of repertoire, piano and aural ability, and rehearsal preparation. Prerequisite(s): MUS 202T and permission of department.
