This course is designed to introduce music majors to the breadth of musical experiences available to them through live performances. Additionally, this course will provide performing opportunities for student performances and soloists or groups presenting professional level concerts. This course is graded as S (Satisfactory) or U (Unsatisfactory) and may be taken up to 6 times. Prerequisite(s): matriculation into the Music (A.S.)or Sound Recording (A.S.) programs.

Learning Outcomes

Analyze professional musical performances of OCC faculty, professional soloists and ensembles, and peers.
Develop and broaden listening skills as musicians.
Model appropriate concert etiquette as audience members.
