This Direct Support Professional (DSP) III microcredential aligns with the DSP III certification through the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP). A medical examination, a tuberculin test, a background check, and fingerprinting may be required before beginning field work placements and may require additional costs.

Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential

The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

MUS 163 Diction for Singers: English & Italian

This course is designed to develop pronunciation skills for speaking and singing in English and Italian, particularly through use of the International Phonetic Alphabet and the rules of grammar that affect pronunciation for poetry and song literature text. Special attention will be paid to physiological processes of articulation. Prerequisite(s): permission of department.
