MUS 109A-Z Introductory Applied Music Study

This course is specifically designed for a student who has little training on an instrument or voice, but shows musical qualities by an audition, or wants to have specific applied music training for general interest. Students in this course will develop a student’s aesthetic awareness, an understanding of correct physical and technical processes, and build a foundation of repertoire and performance practice suitable for the beginning student for the appropriate area of study. Prerequisite(s): audition or permission of department.
