CMG 140 Introduction to MEP/FP Systems

Credits: (3)
This course is an introduction to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems commonly used in building construction. Topics include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); electrical circuits for lighting, communication, and security; water supply and sanitary systems; and fire detection and suppression systems. Students will review blueprints and building codes to analyze the implementation of systems. Prerequisite(s): CMG 120   or permission of instructor.
