ELM 114 Industrial Electricity II

Credits: (2)
This course uses Alternating Current (AC) voltage sources to investigate series, parallel and series/parallel circuits. Circuits are analyzed using Ohm’s Law, Watt’s law, Kirchhoff’s current, and voltage laws.  Laboratory exercises emphasize the construction, analysis, measurement, and troubleshooting of circuits using appropriate laboratory equipment. The course concludes with a brief introduction into capacitors and inductors.  One lecture hour and two lab hours per week are required for this course.  Prerequisite(s): ELM 104 .
