Today’s emphasis on digital design in architecture and construction requires that the two-year Architectural Design Studies (ADS) graduate be well versed in utilizing industry standard software to analyze and create solutions for the built environment. ADS students learn fundamental architectural design skills and develop proficiency in the latest Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. Students get to choose from a variety of technical electives in design, architectural history, construction management, and sustainable construction, while also receiving a solid background in the liberal arts.
Once you graduate with an A.A.S. degree in Architectural Design Studies from Onondaga, you will be well prepared to seek employment opportunities in the field.
