Direct Support Professional I (MC)

This Direct Support Professional (DSP) I microcredential aligns with the DSP I certification through the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP). A medical examination, a tuberculin test, a background check, and fingerprinting may be required before beginning field work placements and may require additional costs.

Admissions Requirements

Students must be 18 years of age or older.

Graduation Requirements

Grades of “C” or above are required for all HUM courses in order to graduate.

Total Microcredential Credits: 12

Courses must be completed within the last 5 years to count toward microcredential requirements. A GPA of 2.0 in the courses used for the microcredential is required.
