This Direct Support Professional (DSP) II microcredential aligns with the DSP II certification through the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP). A medical examination, a tuberculin test, a background check, and fingerprinting may be required before beginning field work placements and may require additional costs.

Learning Outcomes

Students must be 18 years of age or older.
Graduation Requirements
This is a stackable credential. You must earn Direct Support Professional I (MC) , Direct Support Professional II (MC), Direct Support Professional III (MC) in sequential order. You cannot graduate from DSP II without graduating from Direct Support Professional I (MC) first, or having an active Direct Support Professional I (MC) Certification from NADSP.
