The Digital Art microcredential is designed for individuals interested in building practical skills in image capture, image manipulation and creating animations. Students in this credential will gain foundational knowledge of digital photography, editing and animation software and creative content for both still and animated digital art. Courses emphasize hands-on application, from creating compelling imagery to understanding symbolism in todays media environment.

Additional Costs/Supplies
Students enrolled in the Digital Art microcredential must have access to a reliable smartphone or digital cameras capable of capturing high resolution imagery. Sufficient storage space on the device is required to capture, edit, and upload studio works. In addition, students should be able to access various image editing platforms from their cameras as well as personal computers for editing and sharing of digital art.
