Business Technology (A.A.S.)

The Business Technology A.A.S. degree (career degree) is designed to meet the needs of individuals who plan to seek employment immediately upon graduation from Onondaga and/or those already employed who desire to update or develop new skill areas for professional advancement.

Individuals who intend to pursue advanced studies at four-year institutions and wish to maximize credit hour transfer should enroll in the Business Administration (A.S.)  degree program.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Business Technology AAS is to provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for entry-level employment in a variety of business enterprises (or related) fields.

Program Learning Outcomes

1. Identify, analyze and apply accounting principles and practices.
2. Demonstrate a general understanding of business law concepts.
3. Demonstrate working knowledge of technologies used in the business environment.
4. Demonstrate understanding of core business principles.
