Business Technology (A.A.S.)

The Business Technology A.A.S. is designed for individuals who plan to seek employment immediately upon graduation and/or those already employed who want to update or develop new skill areas for professional advancement.

Individuals who intend to pursue advanced studies at four-year institutions and wish to maximize credit hour transfer should enroll in the Business Administration (A.S.)  degree.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Business Technology A.A.S. is to provide our students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for entry-level employment in a variety of business enterprises (or related) fields.

Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Identify, analyze, and apply accounting principles and practices.
  2. Demonstrate a general understanding of business law concepts.
  3. Demonstrate working knowledge of technologies used in the business environment.
  4. Demonstrate understanding of core business principles.
