ART 204 Intermediate Computer Graphics

An intermediate-level course for students to develop the skills needed to create and manipulate images. The creative process and industry standard software functions are used to develop and edit images to communicate ideas graphically. Requirement for Graphic Design majors. Prerequisite(s): ART 142 .

Learning Outcomes
The student will achieve a proficiency in the process and software used to design, edit, and produce graphic imagery.

  1. Create images based on conceptual criteria.
  2. Edit images based on professional pre-press requirements.
  3. Create images by integrating components from other applications.
  4. Discuss and evaluate the class’s and the student’s own work as well as demonstrate an understanding of constructive criticism and self-analysis.
