Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential

The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

ART 212 Ceramic Sculpture II

A studio class continuation of ART 211 , with greater emphasis on more advanced modeling techniques. Emphasis will shift to a concentration of figure in sculpture and working directly from live models.

Learning Outcomes

Produce a figurative expressive portrait using hollow construction.
Create a replica of an object and enlarge it by a factor of 3.
Create, as a group, a single large scale installation.
