ENG 209 Dramatic Literature I

1. Make and defend judgments about dramatic literature from its beginnings in Greece to the birth of modern drama near the end of the nineteenth century
2. Critically analyze drama in writing
3. Use literary terminology and /or theory correctly
4. Identify, describe and analyze connections between dramatic literary texts and the aesthetic, social, political, and/or cultural history of the period in which they were produced
