The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. CMG 250 Principles of Structures

This course is a study of the design of beams and columns used in the construction process. Principles of structural design related to the loading of structures and the resistance to those loads as they apply to wood frame and steel frame structures. Prerequisite(s): CMG 120 and either MAT 119 or MAT 143 , or permission of instructor.
