ATC 251 Automotive Restoration Practices I Credits: (1)
This course is designed to provide hands-on experience directly related to the the area of Vehicle Restoration. A learning contract, containing specific educational objectives as they relate to the work experience and the restoration of a vehicle, is developed between the student and department coordinator. The student is required to keep a daily work journal which provides relevant feedback to the department coordinator thereby ensuring a constant monitoring of tasks performed during the work session. Prerequisite(s): ATC 103 and ATC 115 , or permission of department.

- Identify proper restoration techniques for various automotive systems.
- Implement current standard restoration practices utilized by industry professionals.
- Discuss potential areas of concerns for the resoration of a vehicle.
- Construct a budget and suppliers for the restoration project.
