Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential

The Manufacturing Fundamentals Microcredential consists of seven courses covering fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in manufacturing, facilities, or equipment maintenance. These courses stack directly into both the 1-year Electromechnical Technology Certificate and the 2-year Electromechanical Technology AAS degree to allow students to advance their education over time. Students can enroll in all 7 courses in a single semester, providing a quick entry point to employment. Students will learn electrical and mechanical skills through hands-on learning, while gaining core mathematical skills commonly used in the workplace.

PTA 107 Applied Physics for the PTA

An introductory course to cover topics in physics specifically related to the physical therapist assistant curriculum concepts. Topics that are covered include energy, mechanics, forces, simple machines, conservation laws, properties of liquids, temperature & heat, and electromagnetic principles.
